Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD)
The Marquette County Health Department STD Clinic
offers testing, treatment, and counseling. Concerned individuals are tested with
appropriate cultures for herpes, gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and syphilis as indicated.
Appropriate medication for treatment of any positive test is provided for the individual
and partner's). HPV (warts) is diagnosed and treated using approved therapies.
Examination for STDs, teaching and condoms are free. All information obtained by Reproductive Health Care Services is confidential. Skilled early intervention for medical management of STD's and education is essential to preservation of health and future fertility.
Contraceptive methods are also available through our Family Planning Program.
