Children's Special Health Care Services
Children's Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) is a state and federally funded program that can assist with the coverage of medical care for Michigan children up to age 21 who have certain chronic medical conditions. The program supplements other insurance and helps pay for care for the covered conditions. Examples of covered conditions include: birth defects, diabetes, severe asthma and metabolic disorders.
