Marquette County Health Department is committed to protecting the health of county residents. Part of this effort includes encouraging health care professionals to engage in educational opportunities to increase their knowledge.
There are countless programs available in many varied practice areas. Individuals who have an interest in volunteering their services during a crisis are strongly urged to enhance their knowledge.
Of particular interest is MITRAIN. MITRAIN is a web based portal that allows registered users to identify training opportunities through searching options, access the training, and archive the completed results in a database for personal reference. To visit MITRAIN go to https://mi.train.org
Many training modules are free of charge. Some, not all offer continuing education credits. You will also find the following links very useful as they are to web sites that offer additional educational programs and information on varied topics:

The power point slides from that training are available for viewing. The content of the training involved an introduction to important issues, local and federal response programs, and Smallpox training which included the administration of the Smallpox Vaccine.
